Great store. Staff are always helpful if I ask for anything. They never seem to put out by a request. I heard one staff offering a rain check one time for a customer. Prices are a bit higher and I find sometimes a lack of products. But over all a great service to stop in and grab something quick on the way home for supper.

For years I could deal with the old DIRTY store, For years I've dealt with advertised sale items never being on the shelf regardless of how early I went to get them, The final straw is in your resistance/refusal to taking coupons yet laughably you ADVERTISE the coupon value for products that have them on them!!! You would think that a grocery store that is being trounced by Sobey's would do everything they could to get customers in the store, not drive them away only to see all that money go to a larger chain... Customers come FIRST, let's hope you come to understand that before you end up out of business.

Great prices, friendly staff. They cater more toward small families/singles with their serving sizes of meats and poultry, which is great. Pre packaged vegetables and fruits are smaller portions which is fantastic. Their bakery is top notch - terrific breads, cakes and baked goods. NLC Express on location is a great touch!

Pricey. If they opened at 7 and closed at 11, it would be the ideal neighbourhood convenience store. The one in Mt Pearl is a little frustrating sometimes, as it feels like you're getting nickel and dimed. The service is always good though, and the Liquor Express is handy. Nice to have a good store within walking distance. They deserve a little support for taking over that eyesore on Newfoundland drive.

I really like Colemans. They offer different products from the conventional markets. I'm always excited to see what's new in their shelves, as it changes weekly. Also, they have an amazing sale section where they keep ripe fruits and vegetables. Their regular prices aren't that great, but they surely innovate on their own way.

Very disappointed with Coleman's. Their produce was less than fresh, they were over priced and only 2 check outs available on a Saturday afternoon. I was unhappy with their limited stock. Perhaps this store would be acceptable for quick, fresh cut meat shops but nothing more. Even their sale items seemed inflated compared to your Sobeys and dominion.

Really nice little grocery store. One time an item I picked up scanned as being more expensive than it said on the shelf and they gave it to me for free. The bakery is quite good, the bread in particular is awesome homestyle newfoundland bread a la Nan and they have a variety of imported-from-UK products, including cherry and vanilla coke. a welcome part of our community here in Rabbittown.

I'm delighted Coleman's is my neighborhood store and that it's surviving the test of time in spite of the big supermarkets in the city. It has that familiar and family-owned comfort about it and I'm happy to support local business wherever and whenever I can. The building is relatively small and selection is somewhat limited, but oddly enough, that's one of the joys of shopping at this "down home" community market. I'm not spending hours in there among hordes of people and too many choices! When I get home, I usually find that I got what I needed, I didn't overspend, I didn't overstress, and I'm not too tired to fix supper. And finally, it's the friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. They recognize me and always smile and say hello. I wish Coleman's great success. May they be around for many many years to come! :)

At your store before 9 am for some vegetables & went through the 'customer Service' cash with Jess C as server ( according to my receipt) She was MORE than friendly... started with ' Good morning, how are you this morning' , 'did you find everything you were looking for', ' will that be all', ' Thank you, hope you have a great day'.... I was 3rd in line & herad her say same thing to previous 2 plus she started same with the gentleman behind me. there were a few 'loves' in her conversation' :) which made it seem even friendlier. After going in separate times and being followed the store relentlessly both times i felt time to leave a review. Previous time i called and spoke to management. Coleman's are, it seems, making the most of the boost to their customer numbers, with Dominion being closed due to industrial action. Shelves were fully stocked, the produce looked like it was the best available in the city, the staff were super helpful in locating things, and there were plenty of checkouts open. My experience at this store today, coupled with the indifference with which I have been treated at multiple Sobey's locations recently, has bumped Coleman's up to my 2nd choice supermarket. 1st, currently, since the incredibly convenient local Dominion is closed.

It was one of those moments when I went shopping when many big ticket items that I needed were on sale. Talk about one - stop - shopping. Not having a car these days it is conviently located beside the # 21 bus route that gets me back to St. John's where I live. I usually buy fruit and berries at Colman's. Rarely do they go bad before I get a chance to eat them. Also they have a very clean washroom that had been open during COVID - protocols where other stores have locked their's. Staff is quite friendly & very helpful when it comes to fingers a product or asking at the office if they carry what it is one is looking for. May you all walk through the store when grocery shopping (not scurrying) & follow the arrows in the isles. Happy shopping!

It was like visiting a supermarket in an abandoned city lol There was dust on everything so god knows how long it's been sitting on the shelf. Prices aren't great either unless you hook a sale. I actually left when I got to the meats and a lot of it looked gray or green. Never going back!!

Seafood dept is very nice as is the meat dept. Deli is much to be desired. Not a place with much tact. Learn to treat your employees with respect. Perhaps management should revisit some of their "in-house" policies. Not interested in grocery shopping in a place where you are subject to bickering and profanity. Time to clean up shop Colemans.

I like that I am in and out in less than 10 minutes and I get what I need. Always has great little sales. They have eveything I need without all the flasy junk food we tend to buy in big box stores. Some find colemans expensive. I dont. I like Coleman's meats too.

Coleman's is one of my favourite grocery stores - if you can get over the whole paving/political fiasco and the owner's public anti-choice stance. Even very small locations in places like Bonavista or Rabbit Town tend to have great quality vegetables all be it in small quantities. The chain does not have a house brand like Sobeys of Dominion, but makes up for it with more name brand products and the best selection of British products (it's just too bad the British are so sh'ty at making good food). The in-store bakery is decent AND it is the only grocery store that stocks authentic seal skin pelts.
