Critter Jungle used to be my favourite aquarium store, the one I would recommend to all my friends. The one I would be excited all week to go to when I decided I’d like to add or change something about my tank. The staff had always been friendly and knowledgeable. They kept all the aquariums pristine and healthy. Lately has been a different story. I would like to blame this on Covid-19 but the problems I am seeing are hard to connect to this. I could forgive low and limited stock or longer wait times due to restrictions. What I have a hard time forgiving or blaming on Covid... The tanks are not being taken care of properly. There are often dead fish left in the tanks rotting while the other fish eat them. The aquatic plants for sale are abysmal- infested with bladder snails, hydra and scuds. I have unfortunately had more than one interaction with employees who were not helpful or welcoming and who interrogated me on what kind of aquarium I had before bagging fish for me, as if I was trying to sneak a goldfish into a 1 gallon vase instead of adding a small school of tetras to an established tank. I am a huge advocate of making sure hobbyists are aware of species requirements- this has always been one of the reasons I loved Critter Jungle, but I also think there is a positive way to do this without being rude or offensive and unfortunately it’s currently not coming off in a positive and educational light. I think it is important to note that the most knowledgeable and dedicated employee is currently away and possibly due to this, things are not looking as good as usual. My hope for Critter Jungle is that this review gets noticed and my thoughts are taken into consideration. That the current employees are able to up their game and make this the best freshwater aquarium store in Ottawa again. In the mean time I will wait for the above mentioned employee to return and still pop in occasionally, hoping to see better so that I can go back to being excited to visit again. It really would be a shame to not have Critter Jungle bounce back to its full potential.

This is one of my favorite pet supply shops in Ottawa. It is local, not a big chain and has been in the same location in the Hampton Park Plaza for decades. It is staffed by people who know what they are talking about and avoid sales hype when giving advice about pet care. Shop is chock a block with all sorts of pet things, from every available dog toy to good gerbil feed. It tailors to all kinds of pets and pet owners, from those who live for dogs or cats to those with more exotic tastes like snakes. The only downside I can see is that they carry some quite expensive things. Of course no one forces you to buy them.

Two part store in this building: one side is for cats and dogs, and the other side is for reptiles, aquatics, etc. I really love going here for my reptile needs, they have everything in stock, and if they don't have it they can order it for you. I go here to look at and on occasion purchase fish. Although they do not have a crazy selection, anyone I have ever spoken with is extremely knowledgeable about the hobby. They seem to cater to planted tanks and they also carry a wide selection of shrimp.

Ok. But overpriced due to lack of local competition. Store is not well kept in terms of being tidy and is rather a step back into what may have been acceptable retail merchandising of thr 1980s. Staff believes they are knowledgeable but honestly they seem to be Jr. Google Experts. Since you're stuck in Ottawa this is what you get, so take it and pay the price.

A real pet store! We have a dog and a cat and have tried food from many stores around town. By far, Critter Jungle has the type of food our pets love. My dog would beg to be fed all the time when I used food from a big box store or a grocery store. Now he is very content with 2 feedings a day. I primarily shop here as they have the best variety of bird-related items (cages, toys, treats). However, I now also own a Guinea pig but found that the store did not carry as much variety specifically with toys. They have a small section for small pets. I did pick up a couple of items but was hoping for more options. I find that other pet stores are in the same boat. So I end up buying things online instead.

Visited the store around 12:40pm to check out their fish selection and pick up a pair of angelfish. I was quite pleased by the level of care however, I was turned off when the staff started arguing (almost fighting) with someone who seemed to be a customer or supplier, while standing right beside me. I felt very uncomfortable so I left immediately. Please take your business dealings elsewhere and not infront of customers. Very disappointed.

The aquariums are not well maintained. I even pointed out to the employee who was sitting near the fish tanks that he had a dead floating betta. I found the employee to be very negative too. I wouldn't recommend this store for fish.

I think 3 stars is a generous review for the amount of time, money and energy wasted on this cold blooded corporation. Lack of compassion and customer service are just the beginning of my frustrations. The simple fact that you cannot contact the store by phone because no one will answer and the answering machine is always full, what im being told with that is. You don't care about your customers and cant be bothered to follow up with them. Not a good business model but contgrats on all your lengthy success staying open so long. Not to familiar with other stores like this but ill get acquainted pretty fast cause im not going back here. And if my review doesn't make you second guess giving them your business just scroll down the review list, it gets worse than any comments I made. Not happy Critter Jungle!!

So... Today was my first ever trip into this store and I spent just under an hour there in the fish section. I have to say this trip was both super awesome AND super depressing. In just one visit this is now my favourite store. Not my favourite pet store. Literally this is my favourite store now. Which is why it is so depressing because I live roughly 2 hours away. I will be going back just not as frequently as I would like. The person I spent the majority of my time talking to was super knowledgeable and gave me a lot of helpful tips and info in regards to a project I've been just in the research stage of. Really appreciated the time he took to explain things to me. It wasn't just a "you should do it like this" it was a "Here are all of the ways you can accomplish your goal and how and why these things work/don't work." Really cool guy. His partner I spoke to near the end of my visit helped me with identifying some super cool tiny fish they have in their shrimp tank although I was on like a fish nerd high and have totally forgotten the name of those tiny fish which is unfortunate BUT I will be back again for sure so there's always another day. All of the fish/ shrimp and miscellaneous other aquarium dwellers looked extremely healthy which is a very nice change of scenery than I'm used to with a lot of pet stores. All in all it was awesome customer service, really healthy and beautiful animals and a bigger selection of products than your average pet store. I LOVED it there! You guys rock! Thank you for all of the help today, it was very much appreciated. :)

Phoned in my request, they gave me friendly and clear instructions on their curbside pickup, and in particular they offered what I needed and not what they thought I might need. Pickup was good, out of there in a minute. A very good experience and will use them as a source again in the future. The phone interaction was also good - they were busy but could help me out with a lot of patience!

I rarely leave reviews but when it comes to pets, fish are just as much as a pet as any other specie. You can teach tricks and can bond with your fish, aquatic snails ect. This goes to say as this may come to a suprise but I was heavily bonded with my 16 cardinal tetras, each had a name and each one had a personality of it's own - they were beautiful and helped me get thru this pandemic. Last week, is when everything went downhill. I bough 4 cardinal tetras to add to my 20 gallon fish tank because with that much space it seemed fit to give my 16 fishies a few more friends to school around with. Needless to say I had issues with another a tank (10 gallon) due to the purchase of 2 neon tetras I bought from Critter Jungle (they had ich) - I managed to treat it and saved my 8 neons along the two new friends. I should've known not to buy the 2 neons because next day to their tank the cadinal tetras in stock had ich and they were treating them. They were selling the neons regardless telling me they were fine, but as I placed them in the 10 gallon tank and watched them swim around, they had not many but a few spots. That's issue number one. Secondly, and it's what led me to write this review in hopes to warn other people before buying from this store is the fact that last week I bought 4 cardinal tetras this is two months after i bought the original 2 neons for my 10 gallon tank. These 4 tetras I couldn't see because of the Ontario lockdown till I got home and put them in the tank, these were bought from curbside so the people in charge of the fish department were in charge of picking the fish. To my suprise they had ich - these were the four tetras that went in my 20 gallon tank with my 16 other fish. I couldn't treat them the same day because I had no method of transportation and had no money in the bank (I'm on ODSP) so the next day comes and I manage to get Ick guard which in the package itself states that ICH is a parasite. The fish were fine, but the next comes and all my cardinals had ich and were all covered - they were alive and I had high hopes that they would survive as I couldn't bare to have the suffer. Sadly, the next day - all 20 tetras didn't make it and I'm still struggling to cope with it. I called the store hoping that maybe I could get something back or at least an apology but didn't get either - in fact they wanted me to wait till the fish specialist would arrive which is 5 days from today. The person on the phone (the manager) tried to tell me that it's basically my fault by gaslighting me - when in fact ich is a parasite that indeed can be treated and indeed can be made worse by stress within the fish. Every information/source as I've even called veterinarians expert within exotic pets (fish) which have told me the same; ICH is indeed a parasite. The fish will get itchy and rub their bodies all over the tank - therefore spreading the parasite all over the tank. This can be treated but if left too late the fish will die. The parasitic trophont lives completely within the host fish, causing tissue damage and leading to the host's death. The disease is highly contagious and spreads rapidly from one fish to another. It can be particu- larly severe when fish are crowded. While many protozoans reproduce by simple division, a single “Ich” organism can multiply into hundreds of new parasites. ICH is a parasite and was first found by the French parasitologist Fouquet in 1876. You can find more information by either calling your local veterinarian or do research. The manager tried to make it sound like ICH is like the common flu in fish when that's not the case at all. I'm hurt from the death of my fish, the least one could do is accept they made a mistake and apologize instead of trying to pass the blame to someone else - do better. Lying about something you have no knowledge on top of everything else in not okay.

The store was bigger than I expected from the outside. We went in for some bird perches, and were surprised at the variety of toys, perches and other accessories they had. They are also the only store in Ottawa which caries a brand our vet recommended for our lovebird. They are the only store I've ever been in which has a wooden 5"8 tree structure available for sale. Typically you have to order those online due to the size: most sellers don't carry them because it's not an item in demand. Definitely one of my favourite stores for our little birds. You can also call them to make sure they carry what you're looking for before you make travel arrangements.

I went to look at their aquarium section, and the had quite a limited variety of freshwater fish, a few dwarf cichlids, but no saltwater. The staff were very knowledgeable and their tanks had live plants in. They have a very nice selection of freshwater shrimp.

I have been going to critter jungle for the last few years to get supplies for my reptiles and small pets. The selection is great, and the staff is amazing. They always have a wealth of information and if they don't know the answer to your question they will find it for you. I recently moved out of the area and will still drive around 40 minutes to stock up on any food or supplies I need. Over the last few weeks I had reached out to John about doing a bioactive tank for my Crested Gecko and he gave me a wealth of information and guidance on how to get it done properly. After expressing that I was still nervous to do it myself he offered for me to bring my tank into the store and they would set it up for me. So I did, and an awesome dude named James Ellis built me a sweet setup, staying well within my budget, and answering my million questions the entire time. I have always enjoyed going to Critter Jungle, and have a lot of respect for how they treat their customers and how they care for their animals. After this weekend though, I was blown away by the level of customer service they provided me and will continue recommending them to anyone and everyone.

This is the best exotics store that I have gone to in Canada. Staff is very polite and knowledgeable, I was very impressed in Johnny's manner in particular. As soon as I walked in he greeted us and was more than happy to show the reptiles in stock and explain anything I didn't know. He was 100% accurate on all of his information (a rarity in many places) and suggested a few things I hadn't thought of myself. All enclosures are clean and very well set up, all animals are happy and healthy, and absolutely no over stocking of animals (which, sadly, is extremely common). All in all I am extremely impressed and will be recommending them to everybody I know in or travelling to the Ottawa area.

Did not feel welcomed we had gone to donate a bag of dog food and reached the store by 4:54 pm just minutes before closing down on a Sunday the person did not allow us to enter the store but then we managed to communicate from behind the closed door that we had come to donate the bag of dog food then finally he opened the door . Stopped visiting this store DISAPPOINTED. Talking to us from behind the closed door was UNACCEPTABLE.

My review is based off my experience purchasing a hamster 2 years ago and the supplies I have purchased over the years. The most excellent and most important quality of this pet shop is that it sells healthy animals. I personally purchased a dwarf hamster from them 2 years ago. Commonly, pet store hamsters will have many genetic defects due to poor breeding. HOWEVER, my hamster is still living at the ripe old age of 2 years 3 months old with no defects whatsoever. (avg. lifespan for a dwarf is 1.5 years) That's how I know that Critter Jungle uses a great hamster breeder. All the food they have stocked is high quality. You would be surprised how many hamster foods on the market include dangerous ingredients for hamster (such as red dye or garlic). None of these unhealthy foods make it onto their shelves. The hamster bedding, houses, and wheels are all good as well. I only have one critique of their stock: the hamster cages that they supply are too small for the minimum (360 sq inches). However, I can't hold them responsible because no-one manufactures hamster cages that large. If you are buying a hamster, I would recommend making a "bin cage". It takes 20 minutes and is way cheaper and better for your hamster. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, even right before closing. My only serious critique of Critter Jungle is that when I purchased my hamster, they didn't have any information on him. They didn't know his breed, gender, or age. In fact, they said he was probably a Winter White hamster but I have since identified him as a Campell's. They said their "hamster guy" wasn't in so they didn't have the information. I don't know if they have improved on this since 2 years ago. I'm not too upset, because he's so healthy. TL:DR Healthy animals, healthy food, helpful staff. Best pet store in Ottawa!

Stop selling small animals. And birds. Most of your small animals are very poorly kept after. Including your birds. You do not house them properly, most the time you do not feed them properly, nor do you give any of the animals that require social interaction any social interaction. Stores like you should be shut down until you stop selling animals. Or until you start training all employees how to properly deal with, feed, and interact with the various animals that you have housed in your stores.

I'm a huge fan of this store for its selection of harder to find livestock to the staff the run the shop. As a person that owns both reptiles and freshwater fish. I can tell you that James, Jason, and Theo are extremely knowledgeable in their respected departments. I have learned a lot from all three of them. Best pet store in Ottawa, great prices and selection of natural pet foods. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I had an easy return on a coat that didn't work with my puppy. Would highly recommend to anyone with any kind of animal. Update: I purchased a car harness for my dog that was the wrong size, brought it back without a receipt and it was exchanged immediately to the right size. They also have a points program that records when you have purchased enough food for a free package.

They have a pretty big selection, but if they don't have something you're looking for ask them, because they might be able to order it for you. Unfortunately, despite the great service from Theo in starting my new aquarium, I was met with poor customer service when I called with an issue - something I purchased for the aquarium under a month ago suddenly broke and, from my understanding, is an integral part of the aquarium. I called as soon as it happened Tuesday night and was met with absolutely no support or suggestions as to what I could do. I simply kept hearing the canned response of "I understand", repeatedly. Having had worked in customer service for almost 20 years, this is completely unacceptable and made me feel like I was just a bag of money and not a valued customer, after all I had already spent over $150 on my new hobby, plus more on things for my dog. I am incredibly disappointed to say the least. I will not be coming back and will not be recommending this store to any of my friends/family/colleagues.

Super nice staff, took the time to explain in depth about what to feed my new bearded dragon. One of the only places I've found that sell BSFL. HIGHLY recommend to any pet owner. They seem to care for their reptiles from what I've seen although they did have a few dragons in the same enclosure which we know can lead to fights and missing digits or tail ends. They do have a wide selection of products. I was discouraged to see they didn't give discounts for a high number of crickets bought (like a deal for a thousand). But all in all, it's worth checking it out. I didn't look closely at what they offered for other pets but they have the best prices I've seen for Repashy reptile supplements

From the perspective of ethical sale and care of animals, Critter Jungle is the standard to compare all other pet stores too...and this is by far the most important measure of a pet store in my opinion; however, they would rank at the top in all other categories (knowledgeable staff, quality of products, and so on). Their core section (cat/dog) is on the small side so it may not have what you're looking for if you want a specific brand, but they stock high quality food, and unique items you can't find in other stores. Maybe call ahead if you're looking for a specific brand of food. The specialty section (reptiles/fish/bird/small animal) is where they really stand out. Stunning displays for healthy, well-taken care of reptiles and amphibians. Rare and ethically sourced herps, cork bark you can buy by the gram, isopods, Repashy foods, and so many more items that can not be found in the larger, more well-known retailers like PetSmart. I love this store and it's really a gem in Ottawa, one of my favourite finds when I first moved here.

Owners truly care...was there once and concerned at the state of kittens, only to find out that the owner was taking them home each night and nusing them back to health with the appropriate medication. Nothing better than people that truly care. You often find them helping support rescues and their staff are very knowledgeable. Higly recommend.

I mentioned I had bought stuff from big Al's and how nothing seemed to be working right and the guy explained how they basically lied to us about some of the products they sold us and explained and showed us plants that would work with what we were told would be a perfect setup (which it wasn't I honestly would never ask them anything and just do your research yourself and not listen to them AVOID BIG AL'S!!) This place was recommended by a friend. They often frequent the store and have nothing but great things to say. I went in there as I am looking into starting my own freshwater tank. I am still in the research stage of my freshwater journey. Tristan was the one who was helping me and he spoke to me for about an hour. He answered all of my questions. He also talked about what he did and what worked for him. I don't live in Ottawa but from now on I will drive from Kingston just for this store. I absolutely love this place & am there every week for my cat if not more now that I am fostering kittens. So much food: baby milk, litter, dry foods, wet foods, safe toys, etc. I should buy stock in this company! I have never written a bad review on an establishment but felt the need here. Have been in store twice. First time on Saturday with my 8 pound dog and a women came out of back room and asked me why I don’t carry bags to pick up after my dog. I looked up the isle and an obviously very large dog had had an accident I told her it would not have been my dog and she started yelling is there another dog in here. Today I went to return primal cat food they were reluctant to take it back and when I said I feed the dog primal to my dog without issue they said they feed there dog the cat primal. I was just at my own pet store and they dismissed that idea and told me to contact primal as they are a great brand and would exchange it

Try and go here as much as possible. Staff here is the best went last night and staff spend around a hour of there time to help me and me wife with dog food info. They explained they pros and cons and cost per pound and why some brands are better then others. As I'm on a budget and have two 80 pound dogs food can be a concern so is cost and quality. After all that time we felt confident in the brand we chose and reasons why and will be buying all future food off them. Fast food stores pet s___ are becoming a thing of the past as you can see the owners here pay there staff well encourage staff to learn and let them spend time with costumers. Next time your in a box store look around very little staff have to go looking for help at this place well staffed and always ask if help is needed and even offer to help to your car. When I moved into the neighborhood about 2 years ago I was pleased to find out CJ carried our cats litter, but I never really needed the staff for anything as we always went in knowing what we needed for our well established kitties. A week ago we brought home a 14 week old rescue puppy and needed to get a fair amount, and the staff member we dealt with was great. He listened to what we needed, and gave great advice about what they had for options in those items. He apologized when he suggested we purchase something I hadn't mentioned but he thought was very important for pet safety; I thought it was great that he spoke up about it, but also that he was concerned about coming across as upselling. I wish I'd grabbed his name so I could shout him out specifically! Their cat and dog selections is smaller than you might expect, don't go expecting 20 different dog ball options, but it's very well curated, and it is smaller because such a chunk of the store is dedicated to fish, reptiles and birds, which I think is great, as those folks are often stuck going to box stores, or having a tiny little corner of stuff. It was great to experience the other side of this awesome local establishment: We already knew that they carried high quality pet supplies, but it was clear the staff really knew their products as well.

Amazing quality of products and service here. Staff is super friendly and delightful! I bought three beautiful cat trees here because other places *cough cough* Pet Valu, Pet Smart *cough* don't offer towers of such great construction and value. The food they offer here is fantastic. It may cost more than Friskies but you won't find any questionable ingredients. They also have a wider selection than most stores so I am able to find quality products at very reasonable prices. I've had no complaints shopping here and will continue to come for years hopefully.

Response to the owners message: That's great that they are not guaranteed to be snail free. However, this should be something which is relayed to the consumer. This way it is the consumers choice whether they want snails in their aquarium regardless if they are harmless or not. I did not want snails in my aquarium and now as a result of not being informed, I now have a tank of 10-15 snails which I have been removing daily for the past 2 weeks.... It's also great that you support local growers, but what exactly does that have to do with the issue of your company selling a product which polluted my aquarium with snails? Is this a smoke show intended to turn a positive spin into infecting my aquarium with unwanted snails? Does the fact that you offer more selection have anything to do with my snail outbreak other than the plants you sell are the root cause of the issue? Stick to the facts instead of attempting to mislead someone reading this review. The bottom line is your company sold plants, I'm sorry "a wide variety of plants" that were infected with snail eggs to a consumer who did not want snails.

I know they are doing renovations sometime soon, so this review is pre-renovation. They seem to have a large variety of fish for how small the fishtank area is, they have a lot of more niche supplies that other places may not have, such as CO2 supplies and glass intake/out tubes. They have some beautiful driftwood and some bonsai driftwood! All their display tanks are beautiful as well. Their bettas are not kept in tiny cups, but rather in this large display that's is being properly filtered, as well as some Bettas are in their community tanks. They also have female Bettas which are usually hard to find in other pet stores and they are just as beautiful as male plakats but not nearly as aggresive. A+ on the Bettas! I personally purchased a female, she is doing well aside for some possible fin rot that was present when I got her, her tail is not shrinking so it may be that's what she looks like. The staff seem to be very knowledgeable in their own "fields" you could say. If you're there for fish, try to get hold of their fish guy, if you're there for reptiles, try to talk to the reptile guy. While they all seem knowledgeable on the basics, it's best to talk to the pro! The main fish guy, I believe his name is Tristram, sorry if that's wrong I'm bad with names, is very helpful and clearly cares about the well-being of the fish. Overall I highly recommend this critter jungle for fish. Taking away 1 star only because i feel like I got some slightly misleading information that was later corrected by someone else on the phone, that's why I mention to try to talk to the right person while you're there.

Although Critter Jungle has a wide selection of product, I do not believe they have the best interest of animals in mind. I have been a customer for multiple years and have recently stopped bringing my business here upon noticing dried rabbit body parts being sold, not to mention so closely to the live rabbits. This seems like a cruel practice to me and I have notice that no changes have been made upon receiving complaints of this. I suggest finding a new compassionate local pet store to support, and not an unethical place such as Critter Jungle.

EDIT(2020-11-19): Their new policy, allowing bulbs to be exchanged within 30 days, is now meeting the expectations set by other stores. My bulb was exchanged with no further issues and I was generously provided a $25 gift card. I am satisfied with the resolution and Critter Jungle will continue to have my business for essential reptile supplies (good prices on staples, it is the specialty items that I find to be priced highly especially compared to online options). ORIGINAL REVIEW(2 stars): I was sold a defective bulb and refused any refund or exchange. They claimed this was due to their inability to maintain good relationships with their suppliers. Overpriced compared to other stores in town, with poor customer service. Avoid.

Nice selection of toys and food for exotic pets, however I feel the employees lie to get sales or are greatly misinformed. I was told the Powersun H.I.D would emit UVB for 4 years, when contacting Zoomed I was told the UVB degrades after 1 year so it should be replaced! Maybe the Carling store is better, but the one in Orleans is bad - rude/disinterested staff who seem to think they're doing you a favour by taking your money. I started coming here because it's supposedly a family-run, local business. I've tried for a couple of years to ignore the attitudes, but no more. Even the "mature" staff are rude - setting the example which the others follow. I try to support local when I can, but when your prices are higher than the big stores, you should at least try and compensate with good service.

VERY nice pet supply store. Whenever I travel for business, I go shopping at local pet stores to get fun gifts to bring back to my dog. This store is one of the nicest pet supply stores I have seen. They have an excellent supply of items for dogs and cats, as well as stuff for small animals. Prices are good, and they have stuff you will never find at big box pet stores. They also had a great selection of specialty dog foods. The store is clean, well lit and laid out. Space is a bit tight, but not overly so. The staff was very friendly and personable, willing to chit chat or assist as needed. The have cats available for adoption through a rescue. I will likely be revisiting this store during my stay to pick up a few more fun things. HIGHLY recommended to anyone in the area.

I had my first visit to this shop today and was very excited as it is difficult to find any quality reptiles in a store front location in Ottawa and today I got to see some cool little guys. I would agree that the shop is a little cluttered but on the upside they obviously keep a solid amount of stock which ensures when you go in chances are they have what you are looking for. I would challenge anyone to find magnaturals in a pet shop anywhere in Ottawa... they have quite a selection of such items along with many other options for enclosure decor. I give Johnny 10 stars on his knowledge, approach and service. He was extremely helpful with options to help my beardy and very helpful with walking me through different options for care with regards to other reptiles in the shop. He even went as far as to offer assistance with setting up an enclosure in shop with me if and when i get a new little guy. Overall I will gladly go back for all my reptile needs in the future. Anytime I have been in this store I have noticed like some of these negative reviews have indicated that many of the staff are indeed not friendly, and specifically the short dark haired woman I have found to have an unpleasant attitude. This is typical of the rudeness of this city!

My first visit here was very pleasant. I ended up purchasing a very nice royal pleco that's still very healthy to this day. After getting this very nice fish I inquired in getting another one, and possibly 3 as critter jungle said they would be getting a few. I first noticed that the pleco looked nothing like my previous one, and I ignored this fact mainly because I requested that they order me a fish. I felt like I was obligated by being a decent person and I proceeded with the transaction. Unfortunately when I got home, I noticed the top fin of the fish was severely damaged. I then sent a message via email and Facebook. Later that day I got a call from Rob (the person who ordered the fish for me). He stated that he had no clue there were so many different royal plecos and for me that was far from the issue. When I got to the store I asked if they could do anything for me far as the slightest discount. Unfortunately that was off the table and I ended up just getting a refund. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with this store since I was referred by a friend who knows the owners son. I wouldn't recommend requesting a "special order" from this store period.

I went in for advice about one of my snakes that had not eaten in over nine months. I had gone to the vet and tried everything and nothing was working. I was sure he was going to pass away, but after a long conversation with Johnny I made some changes that he recommended and I am so happy to say that my boy is back on food! Thank you so much Johnny and thank you critter jungle for having amazing staff who care so much.

Great place my dog loves it there he finds what he is looking for even if it was not Togo go in there for what we may have bought.. two paws up from chewy.
