Went for 1st time in June promised my dad fish and chips for his birthday (81)living at nearby nursing home. 2 orders halibut and chips about $25. They were delicious. Went back couple weeks ago and they weren't open yet but according to sign should have been so disappointed. Gonna try again soon

Inexpensive place to have fish and chips. Small place to eat in but most people have it to go. My son and I always grab whatever special they have for the day or the usual $5.99 deal for two basa and fries then take it to a park and eat it there during summer times. Nice and friendly couple runs the place.

BEST FISH AND CHIPS! first of all don't listen to stupid reviews from uneducated people. of course the prices are a bit high. halibut is incredibly expensive and the owner has to pay the bills right? second this area is a bit shady so they have the right to refuse customers if they feel unsafe. Fact this is the oldest fish and chips joint in cooksville. one of the oldest in the GTA, longevity is unheard of in the restaurant business so that goes to show the locals love the food. 5/5

Good little restaurant, called ahead and wait time was minimal. Very well decorated inside currency from around the world on the wall. The fries were good and fish had a crisp batter (Halibut) . Roughly $40 fed 4 with a salad. The Staff is friendly . See you next time.

Wanted to put zero star but wouldn't let me rate or review. Walked in there for the first time.. ..was checking out the menu for what to order, asked a few questions with the wife and the owner intervened and got irritated and insulted me by shaking his head at me..so ignorant and rude to display manners like that to a customer.. .really irked me and left such a bad first impression that I ended up walking out of there with no order... Took my business somewhere else... Terrible people skills and never again.

GREAT Fish & Chips in Mississauga with excellent prices. Their halibut and fries is only $10 which includes taxes, best price I've seen anywhere else. The batter is light and crispy, not greasy and fish is very tasty. They also have haddock and fries for $6.99 +taxes, it's a good portion for the price. I've been going to this place many times and still like the food and friendly service. Their $4.99 special is 2 pc of basa and fries. I strongly recommend this place for those who enjoy fish and chips. They also have nice coleslaw for only $2 for a large size. Overall excellent value, taste and service!

This place has been around a long, long time. The status it has achieved is not based on the present quality of food. This is, hands down, the worst Fish and Chips we have ever had. It was 50% OILY batter that actually smelled bad. That is because they keep using the oil over and over and over! The fries were also greasy and had that flavour of over used oil. These are not the original owners, they can't be. I predict this place will cease to exist in the next 6 to 12 months. These proprietors have no clue about Fish and Chips if they did they would not open their doors to the public with this type of fare. There are many choices in Mississauga, thank God, so this one will not be missed. One star is for the bag in which it came!

went today for the first time and found the experience to be between good and very good. my order consisted of haddock n chips, med coleslaw, and 2 fish rolls and a soda totaling $12. The special for $5 that u see in other reviews is for Basa fillets not the haddock or halibut fish. The fish itself was well prepared the batter was nice crispy and not really greasy and the fish inside was quite tasty, about 5x5 inch square piece, The fries were generic frozen fries Not fresh cut as i was expecting, for such a small place you would figure it wouldnt take much to put the effort into making your own fries. The coleslaw was nothing special just some store bought slaw mix and mayonaise and a bit sugar as well i think, tasted a bit of sweetness to it,. The fish rolls were not to bad either, they were 2 frozen spring roll type rolls with fish in them instead of veg like a regular spring roll. overall i would rate this place a 6 out of 10.

I've heard good things about it, so being nearby I went to try it. Did not even get a chance to order anything before they asked me to leave. When I walked it, the man was exclaiming something while the woman listened. They asked what I want to order, I told them haddock fish and chips. The man then asked me if I can leave and come back in 10 minutes. I was confused why they would say that. I was okay with waiting ands asked if they can prepare it so that I can pick it up 10 minutes later. The woman said, it's very fast only needs 3 minutes to cook. Then the man interrupted and said, either you wait 10 minutes to go somewhere else to eat. I'm thinking, if thats the kind of customer service that they treat people with, I'm sorry but they just lost a customer, and many more to come.

I always go to this place and just because it’s in the area because their rude don’t value customers and the food isn’t great for the price either. Take my advice and take the time to go to eglinton and creditview or eglinton and hurontario for good fish and chips in Mississauga. These people don’t deserve your money. Last night was the last time I waste money here. You can’t clean your nose with your finger then prepare fish with your bare hands for people. In front of my face. Then when I asked about it they went on to talk about me in their language. Gross.

I ordered basa fish and chips. It cost me $9.00 for two pieces and some chips. The fish was fried well and it was nice and hot. The chips were crisp and wasn’t soggy or soft like some places. Next time, I’ll try the halibut.
