I gave my G2 Exit test yesterday. Although I took my first and only driving lesson with Aamco Driving School, I was able to clear my G2 Exit Road test in the first attempt. The Instructor was patient and made sure I was well versed with all the road signs and rules. Having good knowledge about what or how the Examiner will observe my driving, the instructor guided me with every step and asked me to repeat if at all I made errors. Soon as my class was over, she informed me about my areas of improvement(2 exactly) and wished me goodluck for the test. I’d highly recommend Aamco to anyone living in Scarborough Morningside, who are willing to learn driving, or gonna give a road test anytime soon. He is best in his work really motivates you and aware you regarding the actual rules and test scenario. His tricks are very easy to learn and remember. In my opinion, I must say that he is the best to learn cars in Canada.

I booked an appointment with Sarah on January 15, 2022 to help prepare me for my G test. She confirmed and when January 15 came, I didn't hear from her. It was 10 minutes after our scheduled appointment so I called her. She told me that she assumed I knew the appointment was cancelled due to Covid. I was so annoyed since she never communicated this with me. I wanted to ask her a quick question over the phone about one of the rules of the road and she rushed me off the phone and said she'd call me back. She never did, I had my test and thankfully I passed without her help at all.

Wonderful experience! My instructor was Shobna Sharma. She is an excellent teacher. Learning to drive under Aamco has been by far the most beneficial experience I've had with any driving school. (passed my G2 first try!) I signed up for some in-car lessons only two weeks before my G2 test and wasn't expecting to get in because of the short notice and backlog. But, to my surprise, they took me in no problem and planned my first lesson with my instructor quickly and accordingly. My in-car instructor, Shobha, is a fantastic teacher! She is extremely considerate, patient, helpful and understanding when working with new drivers. In addition, she would go out of her way to text me notes on my driving and tips to remember for the test after every lesson so that I wouldn't forget anything! Thanks to Shobha, not only did I easily pass my G2 test, but I've also never felt so comfortable and confident in my driving! Highly recommend and can't wait to sign up with Aamco again for my G license driving lessons next year :)

He was very supportive instructor, i never drove car before, he taught me all driving skills step by step, practically as well as theoretically so i never make any mistake during driving. His way of teaching is fabulous. Personally i highly recommend Aamco driving school, especially Garry as instructor.

I completed my 10 hours for g2 test with Chirag. I am so lucky to have had him as a teacher as he taught me so many skills and gave me the confidence I needed to get behind the wheel. He was always polite and corrected my mistakes in a kind, positive way. He taught me a number of useful tips and tricks and even altered them to the size of my car (which is a large SUV). In all honesty however, the beginning was very rough. I was ready to start my lessons since January 2021 but with all of the lockdowns, I didn't receive my first lesson till about September. At first I was very frustrated but now I understand how over booked they are- especially trying to make up for all the lessons lost during all the lockdowns- however once we began our lessons he was consistent, usually getting back to me that same day when our next lesson would be booked. Being a university student, I also found it very affordable. I would completely recommend this driving school to one of my friends. Thanks!

Terrible experience with the driving instructor, Sara, she arrived 5 minutes late and was on call, then she hung up and started taking out some documents from her folder and was busy scanning some documents while I was waiting for the lesson to get started. She finally was done scanning the documents and saving pictures and then she said start and I saw the time, already 8 minutes gone. Whole time she was on her phone talking to clients while ignoring the one sitting next to her, did not teach me well and she was just looking at her phone by the end of my lesson, she called her another client to get ready and left me 7 minutes before the class. Don’t waste your time and money on aamco, terrible service, really disappointing. ???? In response to the reply from the owner, I would like to clear few of her doubts, I inform you to pick me from a new address nearby 50mins before my class, if that was too much to ask, then you should have replied no, I would be at my place and my dear I reach the place by walk in just 5mins, I wonder what took your car to be there 7mins late, i mean 57mins is pretty much a good amount of time my dear and I never said I’ll be taking a different car for my test, I clearly told you I’ll be taking same Honda Civic, yours was 2016, I’ll be taking 2018model and thank you for noticing my frustration which was not because of taking different car to my exam, it was because of the smell in your car, looks like you had cold and sorry to say your car smell really sick. And I never demanded you to teach me everything in just 1 hour, this is why I comment that you didn’t pay attention because I clearly informed you i need to learn LEFT TURNS, my friend is teaching me parkings and 3.p.turn. And about your other clients, please hire a separate person for attending all calls and replying emails and text messages and you kindly focus on the client sitting next to you, thank you. ????????

This driving school was amazing i did the bundle of in class and 10 hours lesson. The in class was nice with Sara, Its on weekends and she also has it on long weekends. She has a schedule that you can make your schedule as you can attend the school every sunday or every sat for 4 days or just get it over and done within two weekends. The communication was perfect, lessons were held frequently and on time! Jasmeet ( GARRY ) from AAMCO gave me great driving lessons, his behaviour was professional and friendly altogether. I could realize from the first day that despite his young his experience was great, and had better teaching skills than many veteran instructors as i had learned from others but didn’t like them. Chirag Pathak is a great instructor and is very kind, very understanding and does his best to accommodate you. Aamco is a great driving school with great pricing. The only thing I have to say is maybe they should hire more instructors during the summer, as my instructor had an extremely busy schedule. Going to do my G2 test soon, hopefully I will pass on my first attempt. Otherwise, it is a great school.

Using a different name for my sisters experience. We were double charged at first, and the owner from AAMCO did not reach out so we had to. Recieved ten lessons to be yelled at by Sara the entire time, she is not a kind person and only wants your money. Does not correct your mistakes, just tells you that what you're doing is wrong and doesn't help you improve. Sara is always on the phone and does not respond to messages. I plead you whoever reads this review, take your money elsewhere. Good luck on your driving test.

I highly would recommend Aamco Driving school to ANYONE. I attended Aamco driving school in the month of April. I did my in-class courses and Sara was a really good teacher, there was nothing complicated about the teaching. It was very comprehensible and simple.My driving instructor was Shoba. BEST DRIVING DRIVING INSTRUCTOR. Seriously Shoba was such a big help, she was very flexible with our practices. I was very comfortable driving with her and she was really confident in me. I had a few challenges of course but little by little thanks to her tips she provided, I improved. And just yesterday i passed my G2 on the first try!

Madhu was my driving instructor and she was very patient with me, given that I had no experience driving in a car before my first lesson. She took the time to teach me how to drive safely on the roads as well as provided great advice prior to taking the g2 test. She offered words of encouragement where needed and was also tough at times when I made mistakes while I was driving. But, she took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong and was patient and kind in helping me correct it. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with her because she actually cares if you get your drivers license or not and teaches you practical driving skills you can use in the long run.

I cannot express how poor my experience was with Aamco Driving School. They had overcharged me, lack of communication, disorganized, and lots and lots of stress. They wouldn't provide me with driving lessons for months because of the "backlog" and kept providing the excuse that those with tests coming up are getting lessons first. I was waiting for several months before being able to take any lessons. My instructor was rushing and did not provide for me any proper instructions. If I'm paying $600+ for your service, how am I not going to receive proper service until months after. I would say take your money and go elsewhere. Your money is best in the hands of someone who truly cares for you. Aamco is trying to overbook themselves to make as much as they can from you.

New driver, just got my G2 today on the first try thanks to AAMCO Driving School. Really excited to use my licence for the summer and will be using them to help with my G road test next year too. The classes are really informative (in class and driving on the road) and the instructors are very interactive with me. Very patient also with new drivings and making sure they realize their mistakes with great constructive criticism to help me fix them. Without them I don't think I would've gotten to pass from G1 to G2 on my first try. I would recommend this driving school for both old drivers and new drivers as it's helped me and many others I know with their driving.

In the beginning, the in car driving lessons was ok for me. 8 hours of driving with Sara and Eric help, I passed G1 after one attempt. Purchased: $500 package # 4 for 8 G1 to G2 lessons plus the car rental for road test. Included free pick up and drop off. (Call any driving school, the $150 car rental for test is including pick up and drop off, no exceptions.) My lifestyle and work is very time flexible. In case of AMCOO driving school, I always let them set up their own time for my lessons. I always agreed with their scheduling, but Sara Devi Dasi took advantage of it. Unfortunately Sara’s unprofessional attitude damaged my experience with the AMCOO driving school. I contacted the AMCOO driving school six months in advance and was told to contact them again. They said the lessons will start “3-4 weeks before the test”. I again contacted them on November 30th, 2021. I had to contact them again on December 11th, 2021 to remind them of my upcoming test, but their lessons start on December 14th, 2021. As of December 20, I had 2 hours of driving lessons left, there are three days left before my test on Dec 24. I proposed to book two 1hr lessons in the days leading up before test. Sara booked me for 2hr lesson on Dec 23rd, the day before the test, and texted me that “Dec 24th I have family coming over, So I will only take you for test, I wont have time for lesson” In plain text, she said, she will pick me up only for test at the day of the day. I agreed. On Dec 23 driving lesson, while I was in the car with Sara, she informed me that she will not be able to pick me up and drop off after the test. She repeated, “Her family is coming over to her home, so she wants to finish early”. I asked her to find me another instructor. Or call Eric, the instructor. She refused to do both of my requests. I decide to give her a favor and agreed to get to Port Union test centre myself. So I take the Uber for test, both ways, assuming Sara will reimburse me from the $150 car rent paid for test. It cost me $51.87 in total. I arrived to Port union 10 min in advance. The car for test arrived about 10 or 15 minutes late before my test. It took me 15 minutes for the test to pass. In total 40 minutes. Assuming Sara had to run to her family I said good bye and I took an Uber home. Done. Next day Dec 25th I made request to reimburse my transport fees, in writing to AMCOO driving school. On Dec 30 Sara called me and making up completely different stories and refused the reimbursement. The story has a lot of excuses and the following: 1. I should have refused to get to my test by myself and ask Sara to find the instructor with the car. (Remember I ask for other drivers to get me to the test. Sara refused to get me other driver.) 2. I had to properly communicate with her and tell her in advance that I will take the taxi. (I paid $150 for a car, and expect equal substitute, a taxi by default, not a donkey or TTC bus) 3. Sara said: “I had to take TTC bus, then she will reimburse me $7”. TTC bus will take almost 3hours travel both ways with passenger stops vs Uber 50 minutes, and again, I paid $150 for car test rental which includes the pickup, which I did not receive. 4. Sara’s scheduling was overbooked, and the student test before me was late for an hour (The car for test arrived about 10 or 15 minutes late before my test. How it is my problem, and why I have to pay extra $50 for that?) 5. “Some restrictions apply for free pickup and drop off” (No description of any restrictions was ever written. In that case restrictions may be anything Sara can make up of) 6. Her last excuse was that, “Her family was waiting her at home for holidays”. (So I have to pay my money for her family?) I proposed to Sara to reimburse me half ($25), she refused to do so. In summary. I was planning to hire Sara for G test, but now I will not use their school services. Sara lost a client in the long term for $25 bucks. Sara is short-term thinker and brings her family problems to business and ask client to pay for that problems, it is inappropriate.

I was a student YEARS ago with Aamco i did the in class learning and my g2 driving lessons there. I was extremely anxious to drive and with Sara's knowledge i retained a-lot of the theory and Shobna my driving instructor made me a very confident defensive driver. Fast forward a few years, with only a couple refresher lessons with Shobna, I took my G test yesterday and passed!. AAMCO driving school has my highest recommendation for quality, great communication and good value for their services. If you are a new driver or want to freshen up on any knowledge of the road this is the place to go . Best decision i made.

He was very supportive and through his encouragement, I passed my G2 on the very first attempt. He was very flexible with the driving lesson hours and provided me with on the spot continuous feedback to correct mistakes. He has a great approach and method to each G2 road test requirement (parking, stop signs, road scanning, etc.) and his tips were always spot on. One thing I really liked and acknowldged about her was that even if her schedule was fully booked, she had the time to place me for the lesson.
