We moved to Toronto a year and a half ago thinking we would have a tough time finding another amazing dance studio for our kids. We discovered we lived a few minutes away from Gotta Dance so thought we’d “give it a try”. Here we are, a year and a half later, 3 kids dancing at Gotta Dance (2 in Hip Hop competitive and one in recreational tap) and absolutely LOVING it! The overall studio and staff are incredible, professional and kind and specifically the competitive hip hop program is like nothing I have ever been able to find in a dance studio. My kids spend 12+ hours there a week and can’t get enough. Thanks Gotta Dance for being so amazing!! We are so grateful!

These are quality dancers! My younger sister started when she was 3.. and continues to go. She is not 15 and is in their competitive team! So proud of what she’s accomplished because of gotta dance! You go guys! Definitely recommend these dance classes

Nina Blanc Experience

I have frequented this studio for a predominant amount of my 8 + years training as a dancer in Toronto. Consistently amazing customer service from the owner and staff, clean and organized environments, spacious and unique studios spaces and so much more. Each space has it's PA Speaker system easily accessable by auxilary cord connection, and large mirrors. The bathroom is clean and spacious with a changing area. There is lots of FREE parking spaces available right outside. Highly reccomending the studio space for various purposes!

Our kids have attended Gotta Dance for a number of years now, and the quality of teaching has been consistently very high. The Instructors really engage with their students, and are overall very supportive, knowledgeable and fun. The Administrative staff are great as well, and are always very helpful. I highly recommend it.

I have been to lots of great dance studios over the years as a student, teacher and now as a parent. Gotta Dance is well run with well qualified teachers. The reception is friendly and inviting. Attention to making all participants feel welcome and valued is evident in the class structure and teacher-student interactions. There is a conveniently located dance shop in-house for supplies which cuts down my travel and search time for my children's needs. Both recreational dancers and those wishing to excel would be happy here.

I've honestly never tried this school. . But couldn't help but address a bad review! (I'm looking into this school for my 3 year old daughter) To the bad reviewer.. The idea of a performance especially for young children... Is not to be PERFECT but to try your best and build self esteem! So to say they weren't ready, they're Friggin kids for God sakes. And there aren't any challenging moves? Again, they're kids!

My daughter joined Gotta Dance last year for the first time. She took the Hip Hop Class with instructor Daniel. Daniel is an exceptional dance instructor. He makes the kids work really hard, and he is a great choreographer . We will definitely be coming back to work with Daniel again this year. Recital was done excellent!!!! Enjoyed :)

We were just there for the annual performance and it was really bad, I cannot believe that a school would allow to showcase performers and they are are not ready . The performance most of them are not synchronized, they were telling each other what to do. The performance was half lack luster, the movements are all repetitive. There aren't any challenging moves for any of the performance they had showcased, my 15 yr old cousin even said "for children they had no energy". It was painful to watch and we've been coming to see the performance for 4 yrs now and it's all the same lame uneventful performances except for the guests performers which is sad because the yearly Performances should showcase what the school have to offer and I will never recommend this school not even for ppl that I don't like. The only reason we watch it is because we are guests of one of the Performer's Mother.

This studio has been nothing short of wonderful with it's families. They really do go above and beyond to make sure dancers have the best experience they can possibly have. My daughter has danced in other studios and I am so happy to call this place home. Reading some previous reviews is disheartening, as I have seen first hand how the families that are "unhappy", are the very same ones that take advantage of the staff/owner at the studio. Them stating that you are better off going somewhere else or that this place is a "joke", is not a reflection of the studio. If you ask me, those individuals are just being spiteful for not getting what they want. Remember, you can't please everyone! I say go in for yourselves and make your own opinion instead of taking the word of whining children! Keep up the great work Gotta Dance! :)
