Bmr is a quick drop in for your home improvement needs. Doesn't have every bell and whistle but what it does have is priced right and does the trick. Faster than the big box stores.

Decent selection and prices. However Home Depot now beat anyone's price on advertised products of the same brand. Springtime products are always purchased here because they seem to have the best deal and it's not worth hunting down manager to get a price change

They have a great selection of drywall tools and items Home Depot and Lowes does not have that came in handy. They also have good specials on toilets and flooring and such. Just don't go in the back with your vehicle to get lumber and such there are little staples all over the place that we damaged a very expensive tire running over.

The people who work there are very rude. The store is Dirty! Stuff is unorganized. Insulted my husband and I when we asked about ordering taps and buying old mostly broken ceiling tiles that they were going to throw them away. Sorry we went in there. Much better stores else where.

I called BMR in Tecumseh to order some wood and have it delivered. They said they could deliver it but I'd have to come in person to the store first to place my order.....kinda defeats the purpose......however Home Hardware in Tecumseh was more than happy to take my order over the phone, take my visa number over the phone and will deliver it day after tomorrow...perfect!! Having read some of the delivery disasters below about this place I think I got off lucky!! Oh....and Home Hardware delivery charge was less costly in two ways: one, it was less money and two, I didn't have to drive there to place my order and so I didn't have to spend the time. Your offer of a follow-up email is not necessary. I have ordered and received my wood. I do indeed think follow up is necessary, but not with me. I can't help you with the problems that need solving.

I wont recommend this place to anyone! delivery people are out of this world, so disorganized and unprofessional. I had orderd material for a fence with a box of screws, screws never made it to the site. When I confronted them the driver lied that he put screws in the garage. Surprisingly the garage door was locked no idea how he got in the garage. Manager Chriss and charlie backed up his claim and they were very rude . according to manager Charlie I was lying because their driver never makes a mistake . Massave disappointment after buying materals worth over $7000

Always had great experiences at BMR until today when I encountered a snot-nosed (skinny kid with a black mask) too busy playing on his cell phone at the Customer Service desk to serve me. After he finally rang in the transaction he sent me to the yard (with nothing but a cash register receipt) for a pickup of small jack posts that were INSIDE THE STORE, not in the yard. Thirty minutes later my transaction was completed... back at his counter!!! His poor attitude and obviously devious misdirection to the yard makes it very hard for me to refrain from patronizing big box stores in the future. That kid needs a career change to McDonald's where I'm sure he could succeed cleaning toilets for the rest of his working days.

BE AWARE CONTRACTORS / BUILDERS. THIS PLACE was recommended by my Builder (who is personally a very good builder to deal with). If you are not paying attention to what is delivered versus what was order and billed for. You will be on the hook for charges that never made to your home. I just finished building my house where I roughly bought over $45000+HST materials. I trusted on the framers and the store on the orders and delivered materials. To my surprise, when my very last order for deck was delivered and noticed few odd things only because I was involved in the order and with the deck guy for details. They charged me twice for the same order. The order was worth for $4500. After calling to the store, then they reimbursed one order. The order never made in full to my home. When the partial ordered was delivered, my deck guy said the items were overpriced so he only used few items and ask me to return. Surprisingly, it took over 3 weeks for them to pick up the materials. In the meantime, I had called to cancel rest of the order. Interestingly, the items that was picked up by BMR and the credit they gave me was not even close. We hardly used $1,000 materials and they gave me credit for 1,800 dollar (almost $1,700 materials were never got credited). They denied to acknowledge all the items picked up. Also, never got credit for undelivered items. It's been almost a month trying to get this settled but no luck. Also, they never bother to get a sign after the delivery was made. My bad, I trusted the store with my home building. Also, interestingly, the double charged they did for this last order, they charged me differently for the same item in two transactions. Looks like whoever was processing the transaction just have their own pricing for an item to charge. In a nutshell, DO NOT TRUST THEM UNTIL YOU COUNT EVERY ITEM and MATCH THE PRICE YOU HAVE AGREED. IT WAS A HARD LESSON LEARNED. I HOPE THE OWNER WILL READ THIS and GET BACK TO ME. MY ACCOUNT HAS ALL THE DETAILS TO CONTACT ME SO NO NEED TO REPLY ASKING CONTACT INFORMATION.

Great place . Very friendly staff. Not a super store .Easy to find what you are looking for. If you can't find it , there is plenty of staff that are available and willing to help you . Recomend having your lumber brought out to you from the back . As not always good for your tires as I have found out. Staples from lumber wraps were on the ground and cost me $300 to replace tire . They refuse to pay . So if directed to go in the back you are on your own . Even if they did not have time to properly clean the yard.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I shop here a lot and im never dissatisfied even if mistakes are made. I reccomend everyone to get their building materials here or even hand tools...i know some things may not be available due to covid 19 shortages but bmr will do everything in their power to meet your needs

The price for dry wall is more than Lowes/Home Depot/Home Hardware. The price I got was $200 more total for curb side delivery only. They do not provide basement delivery. The 3 other hardware stores were $200-$300 cheaper with basement delivery included. I wanted to support a local business but I was let down by the high price.

What ever you do don’t order lumber or cement from them. Most unorganized place I have ever worked with. Then after processing my return they claimed that I did not return good cement but when it left my house it was in perfect shape. -3 stars

This place does not even deserve 1 star!!! The lumber that was delivered still had bark on most of it and nothing was straight. It was a simple order for 2x4x96 spruce. The cost was 18% higher than HomeDepot and the lumber was bad. BMR was $3.09 per board and HD is at $2.62 per board. I can barely use less than 35% of what I ordered due to quality. I even opted for the more expensive lumber to make sure I had decent quality. Some of the boards have a cut 2/3 through the board as if they were going to be used for rough studs. Extremely poor showing!!! All I can say is VERY poor showing by BMR. I know the one place I will not go for my next major home project!!!
