I was in Prince George for a week and found out that there are not enough Indian restaurants here so after hunting online I found out about this restaurant and went to try it. This restaurant was so good that my whole week I used to go there for my lunch as well as dinner. They have lots of options a must try restaurant. Do give it a shot. Thank you Madras Maple Cafe.

When I ordered a steak and eggs for lunch today for less than $20 I was not expecting much but this place delivered an absolute banger! Best lunch I have ever had on skip the dishes and it was fast. Perfectly cooked tender steak. Perfectly cooked yolky eggs, the potatoes were seasoned beautifully and all around it tasted amazing! I would reccomend this place for lunch to everyone who wants a great fast perfectly cooked meal! 10/10

We always get treated so kind here, the chefs and servers know us and our orders, they make sure that we are happy and taken care of even when we order on skip. My mom has an onion allergy and they will always take the time to cater to that. We get suprized with extra food, or new appetizers on the house. The food is great too. Highly disappointed. We went there two days in a row. No doubt , Food was delicious. But the service we had was terrible . The waitress was not happy to help us. She forgot to bring or even make our tea. we waited for one and half hour for it. And then i approached to remind her. She did not even apologise. In a really bad attitude she told me my bill amount. It was not the end , the tea she gave us was extremely cold. It seems that it was four five hours old. Never coming back. Felt ignored . Will suggest you to explain your staff the meaning of customer service. I am also working in food industry and i make mistakes too. But always tried to fix my mistakes and never let the guset go with angry face.

My food take 2 hours to deliver at my home. I had call them four times for asking about exact timing for delivery and everytime they say it will arrive in few minutes. Sorry to say, this makes me really frustrated.

I just don’t understand this place at all... every time my husband and I go, they always mess up with something.. 1st time we ordered it was wrong order which was delivered... 2nd time when we were there, we already informed them we were running late and ordered something which wouldn’t take long.. and guess we waited 40-45 minutes... and today when my husband went to pick up an order, he saw a group of people entering without mask and no one told them anything.. and later after 5 minutes, 2 other guys joined and no ones wearing a mask.. (and they are not sitting at their table, they entered without mask)

Absolutely delicious! My first time trying that creamy cashew sauce and it will be my new go to dish! I had it with the potato and cheese balls simmered in it and it was heavenly. I suppose it would be great with their chicken, beef or lamb options. I wish it had an option with seafood or fish too. Ugh so good!

Try this place! The veg pakoras were awesome. Dosas are better dining in but I always still get one if ordering delivery. Malai kofta is a great dish if you’ve never tried it, and the veg biryani had lots of nice bits in it, like a single apricot. The items less commonly seen on Indian menus have also been very good.

The lunch special is well priced at ~$10. There are many other items on the menu and it appears that dosa is what they choose to feature. However, there are ample east-Indian offerings and several western option. It tastes as though much, if not all, of their offerings are made on-site as opposed to restaurant supply foods and sauces. The service was good, with water being served and brought out by the pitcher. The restaurant had steady customer traffic for pick-up and several other small groups. Absolutely worth a follow-up visit or two to round out the menu selections. Great tasting food at very reasonable prices in one of those wonder hole-in-the-wall venues.

I find Madras Maple Csfe to be a refreshing change to what most East Indian restaurants have to offer; although it is very similar, Madras takes a stance of it's own with its options for fresh breads and the butter chicken; although, similar to butter chicken I've had many times in the past, Madras has a unique approach to this staple dish that is enjoyed by many people!

MMC is easily one of the most consistent restaurants in PG when it comes to their all day breakfast menu. For $9 you get huge portions, and some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. While the staff has a bit of a language barrier, the service is still consistent. One star deducted for the lack of music or atmosphere in the restaurant, as it's pretty quiet when it isn't busy.

Best Indian food in PG. We just had it a couple days after trying one of their biggest competitors. Hands down Madras. The veggie pakora are delicious. The Mutter Paneer and Chicken Vindaloo amazing. Good heat with the veggie samosas, but not over spiced with great texture and crispy outside. Coming from a big city I wasn’t sure we would find options like this here. Yum!!!

A great new addition to Prince George. Madras Maple Cafe offers something that no other restaurant has in town. Dosas. A curry-filled, gigantic savoury Indian spiced "crepe". They're fun to eat, well priced and a unique traditional dish that's a must-try. I strongly suggest you try it dine-in as theyll be crispy and fresh. It does not translate as well for take out as they will be soggy. Other dishes are also great. Chili gobi is a must-try. They also offer Canadianized food as well, however I cannot comment on that as I have not tried any of it. The decor is nothing special, but the food is great and the prices are quite low compared to similar quality food. Check this place out, show them some love and hopefully add a new addition to your restaurant favourites.

A bit different style of food from the other Indian places in town. Friendly service, good quality and portions. Atmosphere isn't great but clean. Great place for lunch. Haven't tried breakfast or dinner. Need to try to the Dosa (like a big crepe)!

Hands down the best Indian food in town. We order from this restaurant nearly weekly and are never disappointed. The flavours are out of this world. We have tried many of the other spots in town, and nothing ever compares to madras!

I've ordered from them for delivery a couple of times now. Had a stir fry and butter chicken, both of which were really good. Nice presentation, good flavor, and a decent portion size. I thought it was really good value for the price.

The best Indian taste that i have ever found in Prince George till now is in MMC ... Quality/quantity and price everything is equally managed. Whatever i have tried till now is really delicious and many more things are still left.. definitely gonna try them soon. Super satisfied with their services.
