REVIEWS OF Arbutus Coffee IN British Columbia

Miguel Otálora

The good corner of the Arbutus Green Way!

Kaleb Boucher

Excellent coffee and nice place to read or work. Love the location too, off the beaten path. Well worth the detour off of 4th. The cold brew is particularly tasty.

Kitslano 3 best cafe ! Arbustus coffee Beaucoup bakery Wicked cafe My love place !

Alan Savage

Nice place and the service was reasonably quick. Unfortunately my latte was so burnt that it was burning me through the sleeve and thus bitter. I know people don't want lukewarm lattes and it's a bit of an art. Stop heating the milk as soon as the milk container is getting too hot to touch is a rough guideline.

Robin Birney

Our new favourite coffee shop. Simple, rustic, quiet, charming, and good quality food and drinks all round. A great place to sit, relax, and read a book on a Sunday morning. Try the veggie breakfast bagel and their cardamom cold brew!

Hayden Rogers

Staff was very friendly and food was great. Went with a group of friends and we were helped by Ingrid who was very helpful and welcoming. Great atmosphere and will definitely come back again.

Jon Allen

Such a nice little place to sit and read a book and drink the fantastic dark roast coffee. I feel like this coffee shop could be in Gilmore Girls. Cool music when I was there last too- the Shins and Beach House!

Josh Hung

The location is beautiful and very relaxing with lots of leaves and trees around. Coffee and cake are so amazing !

Evan Taylor

A great local coffee shop with character. So cozy and inviting it's hard to walk by and not stop in for a coffee.

Coby Hiccups

Really cute and picturesque little coffee store, located on a nice little shady side street with outside seating. Its a coffee store that you want to stay and enjoy your drink, not just grab and go. Fast service too.

Christine Suter

Tasty, friendly staff, cute. Disappointed I didn't go more often when I lived in the area!

Melissa Hellmund

Our favorite little cafe! Such a nice vibe ❤️

Cz T

good place to have a break

L HML

Nice quaint little coffee shop that embodies the character of the surrounding friendly neighbourhood and is a solace from the retail parts of 4th Ave. Quiet and cozy, it sometimes just lacks seating, but in nice weather you can take your coffee for a stroll along the nearby greenway or admire the garden strip.

Courtney Coston

Super cute neighborhood cafe with great tea selection. Coffee: I dont know, we got teas (they use Bean Around the World coffee) Staff: great- they mismade an order and called it out as free to any other customers Tea: iced chai was not too sweet, lavender London fog was also, amazingly, unsweetened so I bet their lavender lattes are amazing My Vegan Friend: glad there is almond and soy milk but wishes there was oat milk. Space: cute neighborhood vibes. Comfy with a side space with an outlet for computers

John Maters

Got a medium Latte and by the size of it I'd hate to see the small. $5+ for it too? Tastes good but expensive for what you get.

Good local cafe!

Lazarus Shaak

Okay coffee, extremely sweet staff and lovely cafe. Didn't try the baked goods, but they smelled great and there were clear regulars enjoying them. Recommended if you're looking for somewhere cute to sit!

CatQuinnYoga

I just had an Earl grey, but it was loose leaf and dayum was it strong and tasty! And they had oat mylk :)

sparkyfuzzy

It's pretty annoying when you ask what kind of coffee they have and they tell you Mayan and because that's generalized racism you know that you are getting a lower quality coffee so you ask for as much sugar as humanly possible and you tip the guy 75% and they put zero sugar in your coffee. Literally what's wrong with coffee culture in Vancouver thanks guys. Mayan lol.

Paisley D

Small. Great atmosphere. Very friendly barista. Good coffee, great baked goods. They serve around the world bean coffee Definitely somewhere you might feel bad about spending an extended period of time because of the small amount of tables and large amount of traffic Gorgeous older building with cool art inside!

Kathleen Lochhead (Kate)

Some of the best coffee in the West Van area. Love it here. Staff is friendly. Music selection is great. Outdoor seating is ample. Tasty muffins and quiche.

Carl Cheng

I love this neighborhood café. Their coffees and pastries are great, I visit every time I’m in Vancouver.

Tristan Perry

The MOST HECTIC ENERGY for what seems like a "chill little cafe". $8 drip coffee and muffin. Tim Hortons coffee has more flavor.

Bàrbara Sanchez

Lovely little caffe! But there’s definitely room for improvement, especially on the kindness department. Will definitely come back to give a second chance though

Johnny

Arbutus coffee is one of the few cafes that serve an apple cider cinnamon drink. The Cafe is very welcoming and cozy.

Mallika Granby

Homie and cozy cafe! Lots of options for tea which is served in a small teapot. The cardamom cold brew is really nice! Both the vegan pumpkin loaf and zucchini loaf are delicious! They offer a 15 cent discount if u bring your own cup! Really cute spot, perfect for a rainy day!

Chas Frazer

In heritage(ish) building; private ownership/operation... Great coffee, eats, outdoor seating... From a lost era... Friendly... A great place to read Proust on a rainy day... BUT, closes early ????

Fredy Pintor

Cool coffee shop with a lot of history. The building is very old and they have pictures of the shop from back in the day. I had a flat white and it was decent.

Alexander Creed

The cosiest coffee shop around and the sweetest, friendliest staff. They make you feel at home.

Matias Kubacsek

On a really nice street corner without too much traffic. A bit pricey, but still fair and it is very quaint. I didn’t love the iced tea but would definitely come back to try other items on the menu.

Muiris Ó Conchúir

A pleasant local café, quieter, away from constant traffic. And great coffee and food!

Gordon Smith

This is a great neighborhood cafe, located in an old building with character. One of a kind.

PaintEvents

Loved their zucchini loaf, hot sandwiches and matcha latte/coffee! Cozy place to work and chill, very friendly staff!

M M Al

Very cutee

Sunny Vee

This place was super fun! The staff were friendly and my iced chai with almond milk was absolutely delicious! Love the vegan and dairy-free options here.

Jennifer Kleinsteuber

Met a girlfriend in this quaint little neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee was great and plenty of sitting room outside. Lots of people walking by and hanging out with their dogs. ????????????

Ryan Hobenshield

Service was great, very chill environment. Relaxed and helpful staff. Mixed bag of clientele at 1.30 in the afternoon. Nice little nook in the back corner for people looking for private time with their computers.

Deborah Insook Kim

This cafe has good coffee taste but has not enough seats. You can try to have a break at the playground nearby! Me and family brought those drinks to playground and it was pretty good time.

Maxim Bachmakov

Very lovely place. They serve very tasty breakfast bagels.

Jason Smith

Coming here for over 15 years. Good coffee and baked goods.

Sofía Unda

The food is great. It felt so fresh and tasted amazing. The ingredients felt they were picked and treated with care. I also liked the outside spots for seating, they seemed very casual and part of the street.

Richard

This place has no bathroom for customers. Give me a break. Every cafe has a bathroom open for customers. There is no excuse!!!!

Shadow

The cafe is a good place ????

Noelle Bauman

Good enough coffee, cute spot. Not my favorite, but only because they don't ever serve me crema on my americano. But adorable spot, in a heritage building, nice snacks, good sandwiches.

Rebecca Irani

This is my absolutely favourite coffee shop in Vancouver. The staff are lovely, coffee is delicious, they have a beautiful selection of teas. What's more the house is old which is rare for Vancouver and eclectic. The scones are some of the best I've tasted - there are dark chocolate and cherry, as well as white chocolate and raspberry - both to die for. You have to get there really early to buy them though - they run out within about 30 minutes.

Ahura Live

Local and embedded in neighbourhood, just off major street. If aesthetics beyond Starbucks matter for you in working/sitting somewhere, a good choice this is.

Serena

Wonderful small niche coffee location. Great place to relax for a solid minute and breathe. No outlets as far as I can tell for those that need to study

Byron Kerr

Tucked deep inside the Kitsilano bubble, this distinctive, charming café located in a heritage building a few blocks from the beach offers up a good variety of caffinated options in an artsy atmosphere.

Brittany Rudek

Cute and discrete coffee shop located just off the main strip. Offer a variety of cafe food and coffee. Perfect neighbourhood coffee shop!

Hayley D

Cute store, decent food and drinks, but some of the worst service I've experienced. Went in to order breakfast and was talked down to by the server, given the wrong size drink, and brushed off. The service left a very bad taste in my mouth- we won't be coming back again.

Simon Stringer

Best coffee and creative Halloween cakes

Prerna Sharma

Amazing Cardamom Cold Brew ????

Jesse Tio

I ordered a large apple cider (it was very good) which they don't usually do but they did anyways which is nice of them. I love the dark, cosy cafe atmosphere. We also had some cake that was good as well.

Jayden Grundy

What and absolute Jem of a coffee shop here in Kits! I’ve been coming here for years and love the vibe, friendly staff and the coffee is pretty dam hood too! A staple in our community!

Manav Singh

Set in a residential neighbourhood, it's like someone has opened up their living room for people - which lends it a very homely and comforting vibe. Unlike modern coffee shops, it is rather rustic and charming. The place has some history attached to it (started in 1907 and is actually in a heritage building), so it is a bit of an experience being here. The outdoor seating is great for the summer. The staff is very friendly as well. However, I found the coffee to be average, the food not great (caveat: I did not try the baked goods) and prices a bit high. I also found the music to be a little loud and racy. Not the kind of place where you can work (or have serious conversations) in peace. I would still recommend coming here and taking in the ambience, and hoping you get lucky with the coffee.

JOAN CAMPBELL

Very good coffee.. I did not have anything else. It is small, only a couple of tables but does have counter space around the windows and a nice little patio.

Joselynne Rogan

Wonderful! Great service and staff. The cookies were good too!

Siobhan Cooney

Quaint coffee shop in a historic house. Good homemade food and cozy atmosphere

Kit Yee Yu

We were in the neighbourhood and looked for a coffee shop. We happened to see this one on our way. We ordered a cup of iced latte and asked for less ice. The iced latte tasted great and the barista did pay attention that she put less ice in the latte. This coffee shop is located at a quieter street that people can sit and enjoy their food and coffee. The interior design of this coffee shop is a bit older and more traditional (not like the new and upscale ones). When I stepped into the coffee shop (in the morning), it was a bit darker inside. Will I come back here again? Maybe or maybe not. This coffee shop targets the local people in that neighbourhood. People who live in Burnaby, East Vancouver, and Richmond may probably not come here for a cup of coffee.

HerMan P

Great coffee, very friendly staff.

Philip Wrede

Fantastic place with great atmosphere. Staff allowing time for a little chat. Nice cakes and a few good food options. My preferred coffee house in Van so far????????

Nadia Edward

Beverage is ok. Did not try the food. Staff is friendly. Lovely decor. But... For a cozy little place where most customers were working on their laptop, knitting, reading, and other quiet relaxing activities - this coffee shop is loud. The tribal background music is set really loud, which causes the staff (chatting among themselves) to speak louder. Really loud for a coffee shop.

Hannah Monkcom

Such a cosy place, keeping these old small businesses alive is what Kitsilano is all about <3 GREAT QUICHES!

Rebecca Mayers

Always great coffee here. Just wish they had more seating. Take your coffee and head down to the beach instead!

Beatriz González Miranda

Can´t compete with good coffee shops and they have the same prices as them, really cozy space tho.

Antonio Rodriguez

Amazing little local coffee shop. They have amazing atmosphere and fantastic beans, highly recommend for beans especially

Kevin Pierce

Been coming here for a few years- the staff is always changing but the vibe remains the same. Winter days when the windows are fogged from the rain are the best. It's a relaxing neighbourhood spot, and I'm glad it's here

Pierre Charlebois

Funky local coffee shop. Friendly staff and great coffee. But the best thing about this place is the baked good such as muffins and scones. Sooooo good.

Scott Carson

Muffins and brownies were excellent.

Ads

Absolute hidden gem. I cycled 12km across town to check it out and it was worth every pedal. Super cute, relaxed, clean and welcoming coffee house. Unless there was a staffing change, I honestly can't understand the negative comments about the staff as they are absolutely awesome, extremely friendly and approachable as well as keep you safe with protective COVID measures. I messed up my own order and the batista actually offered to pay for the difference herself (which I of course tipped her in return). Everything here is deliciously tasty and a great range of vegan options. They also have a great selection of local roasters coffee and plenty of plant-based milk alternatives. Unfortunately no current indoor seating, which cannot be helped. However, there is plenty of spaced seating outdoors which is so nice on a sunny day.

Daniel Keith Arceo

Cozy! I love the coffee and i love their soup of the day! :) staff are nice and cool,i love their music as well- that classic feel. Come see for yourself. :)

Leon Song

Cute little hole in the wall place with friendly smiles and delicious drinks and treats. Was a great place to stumble upon on my walks through the neighbourhood. Cheers to the great peeps working behind the counter!

Camille Theophile

Yummy! Lots of muffin flavour combinations.

J੦δH ٧੦Ե੦uΓ

Amazing crew in this cozy coffee shop. A great place to enjoy your favorite latte

Katie Foote

One of my favorite coffee shops, and slightly a hidden gem because it's not right on 4th. Close proximity means there can be a lot of kids (which can be a disadvantage if you're doing work) but indoor and outdoor space creates extra seats for a small shop. Yummy baked goods. Great atmosphere.

Luke Gordon

Charming little coffee shop. Excellent beans and incredible baked goods. The muffins get me every time.

Tad Beavers

Cute, awesome cafe! Super delicious baked goods and coffees. I just want to relax here on a Sunday morning.

Mark Lunney

Beautiful building just off the Arbutus Greenway serving great coffee, food and snacks. The staff were helpful and friendly. A hidden gem that's well worth a visit.

Fiona Seneviratne

Such a delightful neighbourhood cafe! Their lemon loaf is the absolute best & the service is always lovely

Hamid Omid

A small cozy cute cafe with extra friendly staff, nice coffee & delicious cakes. Great place for relaxing in a sunny day or watching the rain in a autumn afternoon!

Lauren Moore

This quaint coffee shop is located just off the Arbutus Greenway bike path. Incredible staff in a welcoming environment. Lots of pups lounging outside and they have access to a water bowl. Great quality goods and daily drip coffee offers. Shout out to the awesome guy working today for his amazing customer service.

Hannah Price

This is one of my favourite coffee shops in the city, but it can be hit or miss. It feels like a great locals spot (which it is) where you can sit and watch the world go by. Tip: Skip their brewed coffee and get an Americano instead.

Andy Pandy

Super quaint neighbourhood coffee shop. Great coffee & food. Nice spot for people watching, or meeting friends on Arbutus St.

Y K

They don't offer eat in service now????

Elsie Coffey

This is my favourite coffee shop in Kitsalano. The coffee and food is fantastic and the people are the best! Great chats and laughs and very friendly and quick service. The location is beautiful and very relaxing with lots of leaves and trees around. Bonus points for the free tiny library out the front which has heaps of new books every day. ????????????????

Adrian Heieis

Might be my favorite cafe in Vancouver. Love that it's tucked away in the neighborhood, that you can sit out front and watch the community go by. Delicious coffee and snacks to pair.

stuart chase

This coffee house is great for three things: Location, Ambiance and gluten-free/vegan options. Location: it's nice to find a coffee shop "off the beaten path" (arbutus + 6th in Vancouver isn't really off the beaten path but it's not a main drag, set in a nice neighbourhood. Ambiance: the coffee shop is a converted house, built in the early 1900's. The charm and character have remained, and the warm wood floors, corner lot and outdoor seats under the trees make it a lovely spot to sit for a cup of coffee or a bite to eat. gluten/free /vegan: this place definitely caters to some alternative diets, both with their counter treats and kitchen menu items. Service can feel a little slow at times and some of their price points can feel a little high, but overall this is a great experience.

Pauline Maden

Nice little joint for coffee, sat outside. The food pics look much better might head over there soon on a not rainy day. Hope someone fixed the book box outside there by now, door was off it. Id put some good books in there if its fixed. Will be by for a scone or carot cake and coffee soon.

Neil MacLeod

Great location and some good(but pricey) baking. The coffee unfortunately is terrible. I’m assuming the beans they use are mediocre. The barista skills are also not good. It’s too bad, I live a block away and routinely walk past to get a coffee. Head to JJ on Broadway or Platform 7

Gabe Soo

Great coffee, great vibes and the muffins are amazing. Hands down the best in the Greater Vancouver proper.

Mike Ratzlaff

Nice to take a break from the city and have a really nice cup of java.

Henk Boshove

Flat white wasn't that good (Not enough taste & sure Not strong enough). Banana leaf was fine! Staff Not that friendly (One of the two ladies that is). Must be other - better - options to get a good Coffee in This neughbourhood

Livia Evergreen

Lovely little gem with a fantastic location in Kitsilano area. The coffee was great, the service was a bit disappointing (horrible manner) with unreasonable Covid-measures. There were a bit too many signs for a small place like this to keep your mask on - Starbucks does not even have that many, and sometimes their locations are even smaller. I would definitely drop by again if I was close by, but I would prefer supporting another small business in the area, where the service is nicer and more friendly.

Dan Watt

This is a lovely little coffee shop just off the beaten path of West 4th Ave in Kitsilano. The decor is chic and and it definitely has a neighbourhood, community feel to it. I ordered a custom espresso (love a 4+4), and it was easily as good as 49th Parallel, Pallet, or others.

P Rose

Lovely coffee/tea spot. The place has an awesome vibe, folks that come by are always friendly and usually dog lovers. I like to occasionally come by, sip some tasty Java on the patio with my k-9 buddy Jazz, who always ends up making new friends. ????☕????

Hannah Gee

Fantastic coffee and baked goods. Ambience is relaxed and lovely. Staff were so nice, friendly, and helpful!

Moises Schini

Now this is my favourite coffee shop in Vancouver. Great service and coffee. The chocolate chip cookie with sea salt is something out of this world!

Raveen

I’ve always walked past this place and it had the best vibes! The service and people are great and the location is super cozy! I think anything else on their menu would’ve been amazing but for my first time visiting I chose an Iced Matcha Latte. This latte as you can see is very pale green and it taste like milk with a hint of matcha and no sweetener. I think matcha can be hard to make as the powder needs to be mixed properly but this one was definitely one of the worst matcha’s I’ve gotten. I paid roughly 6.45 for a grande sized milk drink! Would visit again and will try the coffees.

Rebekah Stevenson

Loved the cardamom cold brew with vanilla cream!

Charles

Good coffee, and treats, local small business has outdoor seating.

Tommy Yim

Good coffee

Alexander Gosselin

This is a comfortable place with good staff and a nice vegan baked goods. The coffee has always been fresh. I like that Arbutus coffee is not on a major thoroughfare; it's nice to stop here while on a leisurely morning walk or bike ride.

Emily WG

Nice, laid back coffee shop that manages to stay casual and unassuming, something few others in the neighbourhood have even realized they're missing. Decent espresso, and a really good summer cold brew, infused with cardamom and served with vanilla cream. They also have sizeable scones and muffins baked in-house, a nice change from constant pastries.

Y

Tried sandwiches twice there and both times were disappointed. They're very stingy with the filling. The first one I had was turkey and Brie and I couldn't even taste the turkey because they only put one thin prepackaged style slice in the whole sandwich. I thought I'd give it another chance and ordered bocconcini sandwich with tomatoes and basil. For a almost $9 sandwich, I would expect a little more content. Never again!

Gord Bradley

Wonderful little neighbourhood coffee shop.

Robert P

A very good, decades old local coffeehouse with baking made in-house. Love this little place.

Niki eberhardt

Convenient spot to take kids after school. Kids like the hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. They have soups and sandwiches too and there's always a few "resident" clients working or reading there which tells me they feel comfortable and like it there. I hope they provide lactose free milk ( not just soy or almond milk as they tend to change the taste of a latte or tea) and some gluten free baking too. People with food sensitivities would like to feel included too.

A SL

ALERT: They serve Bean Around The World If you're not a fan of mediocre grocery store beans then try the food. I drove past the place. It looked cute so I stopped and went in. The treats were not all wrapped in plastic so I decided to order. The staff were friendly. I broke one of the main coffee shop Commandments. I ordered without knowing the bean. My bad. The cookie was tasty enough. I was promised sweet, it was more salty and floury than it was sweet. The coffee went straight into the flower bed.

Eimear O'Neill

I love this little place. Their potato and leek soup is just like my grandmothers ☺ Cute spot to people watch or relax with a good book. I love stopping by when in the Kits area

Lauren holton

Charming and cosy hideout. Super friendly staff. Good food and coffee!

Tarek Koudmani

Really good stuff, will come back.

Sergey Honchu

A great local spot with a cozy vibe.

Aaron Reyes

Great store, pretty hidden but the ambiance gives off an earthy feel-good vibe. I had a decent experience and will have to try it again.

Eric Tan

Good coffee spot

Jenny Zhu

Glad I stumbled across this place! The food here is so homey and hearty, especially the zucchini loaf. Pretty peaceful and relaxing here too. Kudos for being environmentally sustainable!

Cokepiggy Dev

I went there when there was one young girl in charge. Not just that she is rude, she also ignored all the flies around the cake when she picked me one. She seems to be very comfortable with all the bugs around the cake and not too happy about me being surprised... I didn’t see that she would understand the concept at all so I paid, left and throw that food away.

K C

Poor coffee. We ordered a couple of flat whites that were weak, watery and lukewarm. Prices were also higher than many of the premium coffee shops in Vancouver.

Jaslin Sonia

Nice ambience but very rude staff. I had an unpleasant experience.

Em M

Friendly staff, cute location, and awesome coffee. Barista made a perfect chocolate Americano misto, it tasted of espresso with a small hint of chocolate rather than the other way around like other coffee shops have done.

Zoe Liu

Flat white ???? (average coffee Neighborhood cafe people living nearby would enjoy it. Horrible internet

Karl Janisse

Really poor quality coffee, weak and lacking body. $4.50 is a little much for a medium americano

T yuan

$5 for a black iced americano (and a pretty weak one at that)…pass

Alice Lee

The place is clearly adorable and I'm disappointed and frustrated not to be able to get coffee here all the time... but I had a flat white with oat milk where the oat milk had curdled into lumps, when I took it back I was told 'that's just what the brand of oat milk we use does, it's fine to drink', (it would have been eating not drinking if I'd tried to finish it). I politely asked if it was possible to use a different brand and was told no (fairly rudely..). I went back a few months later hoping that they might have changed it and was told they now 'sieve the lumps out'. I didn't order one. Seems like a really simple fix to just move to a brand of oat milk where this doesn't happen (also one without sugar added!) - doesn't seem to be an issue anywhere else. I would love to be able to come here regularly but obviously don't want to pay $6 for a porridge coffee and really can't imagine how you could sieve a flat white and give it back in an even vaguely appealing form. Fingers crossed for a fit-for-purpose oat milk soon!

Scott Gardner

Note to self: you like the coffee here. Med roast with almond milk

Sallome N

It took 2 seconds for my mom to fall in love. Tasty treats and warm drinks, lovely location and friendly people. Will come back!

Jordan S

This place used to be good. Staff have become very rude and not welcoming.

Rhonda Forde

Discovered Arbutus Coffee completely by chance this week while visiting the area. I don't always write reviews but on this occasion I felt I really had to pass on my comments about this little gem of a coffee shop. The coffee was so good and the atmosphere is so friendly. I was looked after by Darragh who was so cheery and helpful and made the experience all the better! I will be back!!!

Patrick H

A Kitsilano institution!

Sophie Yates

This coffee house is literally adorable, its in such a sweet location and although you cannot sit inside due to covid restrictions they have some benches and tables out the front with a canopy overhead. The cakes and coffee are delicious.

Jon “Bernie” Bernardini

One of my favourite spots, relaxed vibe with a great selection of sweets and tasty coffees.

Meg Cro

The shop is so cute and has so much potential but the service is TERRIBLE. The girls that work behind the counter are miserable.

meric yenicikan

Nice atmosphere, great coffee. I live in Kits and it is one of the best local places around here. However the person (Mary) who helped me today is not the best obviously. She was rude and very arrogant, served with no smile on her face. Sorry:(

Kian Shoai

Awesome coffee shop! Great cozy feel in an awesome location. Coffee and service is always great. Best place to grab a coffee then go for a walk on the beach.

Janet Lim

Quaint local cafe. Good coffee and baked goods. Also soup and sandwiches.

Roisin T

Super cute coffee shop! The staff are so friendly, the coffee is great and they have really good vegan muffins!

Nicolas Ayala

My favourite and affordable cafe in Kits. Very cozy location and great selection of vegan friendly treats and good coffee. As busy as it is, it's very quiet and peaceful.

jingling lou

It’s very nice cozy place. The coffee is great!

Jason Simeone

Good coffee. Good service. Cute place and a great atmosphere

Danika Adam

I've tried scones, 2 specialty drinks, and drip coffee: The sweet scones are decent. The savoury scones are too salty. The mocha was fine - not great, but acceptable. The matcha latte was, frankly, the worst matcha latte I've had - it was somehow watery, chunky, and gritty simultaneously. The drip coffee is reasonable. The staff - well, I've had super polite and I've had insanely rude. The ambiance is fantastic - it's very small but well-appointed and well-maintained. I've given this place 3 tries and I think that's more than plenty. If you're going, stick to drip coffee.
